Well my friends of the blogosphere another month passes and once again the time comes for another inspiring blog traffic and income report from Magnet4Marketing.net.
Before we get started I’d just like to remind all our readers that this week we launched our second blog XtremeBlogger.net. XtremeBlogger will focus on web applications, how to guides, tech reviews as well as covering topics related to Apple products, fine dining, entertainment (music and films), the arts and travel.
Blog Traffic Report
Ok let’s start off with last month’s traffic. Visitors increased by 6.98% and page views increased by 5.92%.
The site’s bounce rate increased from 77.38% to 78.14% but is currently on the decrease again since removing some of the features and options from the blog’s home page. Work needs to be done this month to lower the bounce rate to around 75% again.
This month (September) we’ll be working towards increasing referral traffic as well as search engine traffic. Our goal for September is to reach 12,000 visits and 20,000 page views.
Income Report
Last month the blog took $374.84 and our aim for August was to reach $500. Whilst once again we didn’t quite make target, we came very close again with $476.45. Here is a breakdown of the income.
Contextual Advertising
Google Adsense: $95
Paid Links: $11.00
Affiliate Marketing
ShareASale $57.69
ClickBank $109.77
DreamHost Affiliate $195.99
Theme Junkie $7.00
Total $476.45
Another huge noticeable increase is Google Adsense earnings from last months $57.81 to $95. We also had a successful month with our DreamHost summer promotion which we of course hope to supersede this month with our new September promotion.
Next month’s income target is $600 so once again plenty of work to be done.
I hope this month’s small but admirable income and traffic report has helped to inspire newbie bloggers to work hard and persevere towards making money online with blogging.

great work dude .. but i think ur adsense income is too low according to your traffic … my suggestion is place the adsense ad below the post title .. i am sure u can increase your ctr and hence your earning …
Thanks, I have been considering moving the 250×300 ad block above the fold, I may well implement this very soon.
how is the ctr dude ?? is it increased ??? make sure that the post title and adsense link color is also same … that is your adense link color is red and post title link is black .. make sure the post title link is also red .. i am sure ur ctr will again increase .. the perfect color for links are “red” .. try this .. if this is not working .. then again change according to your idea …
