My Story
I started my online business venture as a passionate artist way back in 2004, and art continues to be my passion to this day, and accounts for almost 70% of my revenue generated online.
As an artist, I taught myself everything there was to know about online marketing and self-promotion, which over the years has lead me to become one of the most successful, self-representing online selling artists in the UK… all you have to do is type my name into Google and you’ll be blessed with information galore about me as an artist…
Blogging
I started blogging properly in July 2010, which was also the month I launched this blog Magnet4Marketing…
Before which, I’d read many articles and posts on how lots of people were making money online, simply by writing about their passions on a blog, and so curiosity caught me on, and I soon wanted a piece of the action too, I wanted to jump on the blogging band wagon so the saying goes.
Like any newbie at the time, I spent many months learning about how to blog and one of my passions of course was self-promotion and online marketing. So I began to write articles about how to promote yourself and your small business on the internet. As I began to adapt to blogging on a daily basis, my knowledge on how to blog and make money online also began to expand, which soon became another hot topic for me to discuss on the blog, amongst other topic interests.
Why Magnet4Marketing?
I chose Magnet4Marketing only because it had a pretty good ring to it, if for nothing else… The other reason being that I knew if I was going to start a blog, it would be about self-promotion and online marketing.
So my intentions have been..?
With this blog I’ve tried to be as honest and as clear as possible about what I understand about online marketing and self-promotion, and although the internet marketing bubble is constantly changing and evolving, I love the thought of being able to learn something new and sharing something new with my readers everyday.

Online Marketing and Making Money Online
Although I’ve gain lots of experience and knowledge on the whole online marketing, blogging and making money online thing, I don’t consider myself as an expert of any sort, although many people would argue that statement.
The techniques that I use to build my profitable business ventures on the internet are no trade secrets; in fact the techniques that I use are common household techniques that anyone can implement. Like everyone else, I’m still very much on a learning curve…
What is this blog about?
This isn’t a blog about how to get rich quick and retire early… It’s a blog about helping you build a more profitable business online and using whatever resources there are available to do so, without getting caught in the ‘hand me the money first’ trap, which so many newbie marketers fall into. You simply shouldn’t have to pay to make money online… Perhaps pay to learn how to make money online, but never the first…
Building an online business that makes consistent money is no easy task to achieve; whether it’s a blog or ecommerce website or a business offering services online… it takes hours and hours of relentless hard work, blood sweat and tears. So right now I want to tell you to forget about those fancy flashy long sales pages that take forever to scroll down to. Forget about parting with your hard earned cash on systems that promise to deliver results, because trust me, they never will… I’ve been there…
Every product that I personally purchase myself is thoroughly tried and tested before I recommend them to anyone… if something is too good to be true I won’t be promoting it, simple as that. If I truly believe a product is worth its money and time, I’ll recommend them through a review post, an advertisement or affiliate link on the blog [?]
